LightingtheQCA is a local organization formed to provide consumers of the electrical industry a “user friendly” web-site to access qualified electrical contractors.

The long History between the IBEW and NECA has spanned over 222 years. The IBEW was formed in 1891 and NECA was formed in 1901. Combined we are the voice of the $100 billion industry responsible for lighting, power, and communication systems in buildings and communities across the United States.

LightingtheQCA contractors meet and exceed many electrical industry standards through a pool of highly trained electricians. Our electricians are trained to the highest standards of excellence through a rigorous five year apprenticeship program. They must have 8000 hours of classroom and supervised on-the-job training in order to receive the status of “journeyman electrician”. A partnership was formed with IBEW Local 145 (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) charter and NECA (National Electrical Contractors Association). Together, they have long understood the critical role that quality electrical work plays in the construction process. A role where there is no room for guesswork, error or less than optimum productivity.
